Question:

Whats wrong with my windshield wiper?

Only one works. I changed them, thinking it was the blade that wasn‘t working properly, but the one that wasn‘t working, still isn‘t working. Any suggestions? Please include the parts that I‘ll need in your answer. Thanks!

Answer:

Wipers as you know work at the same time! they are connected usually typically two 4-bar linkages in series or parallel. sometimes they become disconected, you would have to look underneath the find the problem. you could do this yourself, look for repair help online. go to your local library or by a repair manual. Good luck and I hope it does not rain anytime soon!
There is a nut that loosens at the base of the wiper arm. You may have to pop a plastic cap off to see it. Tighten the hut while the wipers are in the off , parked position. Make sure the arm and blade are in parked position when you tighten the nut.
They both operiate off one motor (in most vehicles) there is just linkage to the other one, if one is working its just a broken link to the other. (Normally just one motor, cuz its cheaper to do that way, but never know with all the different ways cars are anymore) So as for parts you need to take stuff apart so you can actually see the linkage that connect the wiper to the motor, yea its a tuffy I'm sorry but whats there is whats there. when you see the linkage turn them on and then you will see where the link is broken, may just be something small and simple because the hard part will be to actually get to where you can see. But you never included make of car and specific info the help you get out won't be too specific. Thats my best answer based off the info u gave. Best of luck.
