It really comes down to personal preference. I will say, however, that the eyeshadows in the shimmer pallet are a little easier to blend than the non-shimmer palette eyeshadows. Even though it says non-shimmer, it doesn't mean all the eyeshadows are matte. Many of the eyeshadows in the non-shimmer pallet are comparable to MAC satin finish eyeshadows. The eyshadows in the shimmer pallet are more comparable to MAC frost eyeshadows. I have both pallets and like them both equally.

Its in basic terms on line. Sorry. :/ I even have by no skill ever considered something comparable in shops. in specific circumstances Ulta and Sephora have their very own version of the palette however the undemanding isn't the comparable, neither is the colour determination.
Shimmer! The more colorful matte shadows don't look very nice on your lid.
