affordable yet durable kids bunk beds.
I just bought a metal tubing bunk-bed for my grand children at IKEA. I chose this one because they are boys and I know they will think it is a jungle gym in a few years. I picked it out by walking around and shaking all the bunk-beds. This one would not shake. I is a dull gray, very spartan. If you like, you could paint it any color with rustolium, for a more aesthetic appearance. Price w/o mattress $150
You can try IKEA. I bought a bunk bed like 6 years ago for my nieces and it's in pretty good shape. Good luck finding one!
Your question would suggest that you are buying bunk beds for ONE kid. Presumably to provide sleeping place for a guest. If that's the case, I'd suggest that you consider a trundle bed instead. (see link)
marlo thats where my parents got mines and my bros. They are metal have a slide and feel really comfortable. I think they were only $250
