Hi guys i am building a PC and i am wondering where the card reader is plugged into. Does it go into the USB plug or the IEEE plug etc. I don't want to fry my damage my mobo so any help will be greatly appreciated.
i plugged mine into the usb and it works perfectly fine
if its got a usb on it then plug it in to a spair usb if not and its a pcmcia card then you will have to plug it directly in to the motherboard just put i in to a spair slot (the slots your graphics card ect plugs into)
Most card readers will generally plug into the usb2.0 interface on the mobo. I must admit although they are likely out there, I have never come across one using IEEE (firewire) before :S Good luck ;)
