I got a PO446 Evaporative emission system vent control circuit thru Check engine light from Auto zone today, where is this mysterious fix? 1999 Toyota Corrolla
You are looking for the evap Vent control solinoid. Every manufacturer puts them on the charcoal canister, near the gas tank. Diagnosing the evap system on a car can be a pain even with the right tools, so keep that in mind when you are not successful. Just make sure you have a good gas cap seal and no cracked hoses at the charcoal canister before you start tossing parts at this. Otherwise, you might be consumed by the very ill-tempered sea bass.
probably needs a charcoal canister assembly. usually comes with the charcoal canister and the vent solenoid. i think its only available through toyota, but they go bad frequently
