I can't buy online and there's no apple store near me.I looked at Walmart and they sell the cable and it looks exactly the same but it's by Energizer.I really don't want to buy some rip off is this cable the one ipods come with?

The cable that iPods come with is made by Apple. Some stores (besides Apple) stores do have real Apple cables, but most of them have cables from other companies. The Energizer cable is probably fine; I've used non-Apple USB cables on my various iPods for years without problems.
