which company manufactures the best tyres (tires) bridgestone, pirelli or is there anyone else ?

Answer:

There is not one manufacturer that makes a specific tire that can be called the best. The reason for this is simple. Tires are manufactured for specific types of driving, and conditions. Look at it this way. One does not wear bib overalls to a formal dance at the Hilton, and conversely does not wear a tuxedo to work in a foundry. Just as you would not hunt grizzly with a .22 caliber rifle, you would not use a .458 to hunt squirrel. You get the proper 'tool' for the job you are doing. Tire manufacturers make a number of tires to do a multitude of tasks. The model name on the tire means nothing. It is the actual specifications for a tire that are important to the intended use of that tire. Firestone made a particular model of tire that was advertised quite heavily. That same name model was also made in a tire that was specifically designed for high speed highway pursuit, but it was not the same specifications as the one people bought for their vehicles. I had to special order that tire with the specifications for my use. The model name of tire used on state police vehicles may not be the same specifications of the one you buy off the rack in your local tire store. Thus, it is not the manufacturer of a tire that would make it 'best' for your use, but the specifications for your need. Every tire company will make all specifications.
All of the major name brand tires are about the same. There is no brand that is superior to the others. If any brand of tire were really superior to all of the others, this would be the only brand of tire that anyone would buy. The other tire manufacturers would be forced to stop making tires that they could not sell. Any answer you will get with a question like this will be based more on brand loyalty than fact.
I have had both. For me, I prefer Pierelli, but Bridgestone are good also. Pirelli seems to last much, much longer, and I think are better for gripping and cornering in the wet. Importantly, I always replace at least two tyres at a time, like front, replace both, so both sides get absolutely equal road contact, and no chance of one tyre causing any trouble with the other. This becomes even more important if you are driving at highway speeds. A last thougth: Consider warranty: Cars come with fairly cheap tyres to keep costs low, thus while safe, they are not necessarily the best for long term wear and reliability. Also, if I have one tyre go bad, like I did on my 93 Toyota, I often will replace all of them, especially if several years old. Again, safety. If one has failed, then another may follow. If a nail or tack, that is different, but if it is just plain being knackered, then better to replace all, in my humble, wimpy, want to feel safe opinion!
