I try VERY hard not to support slave labor, so YES, it makes a difference to me. I do pay more, but it is VERY difficult to find made with pride in the USA tags anymore.
Slipping transmission, runs like crap but oh boy, it has a gas sucking V8 in a big heavy car. Offer $800. That's all it's worth.
yes, i try to avoid it but i could do better. i would prefer to have less and pay more for it to ensure the production process treated the smallest fishes ethically. i do try to support american companies and those that use animal-friendly products. as it stands now, there are too many people who rely on their meager earnings and too many others in similar situations that would easily replace them. it would be highly unlikely boycotting these greedy companies would result in real changes.
I am afraid to say, it doesnt bother me one bit.
