I got my first laptop nearly a year ago, around November time.Around March this year the laptop charger broke, it burnt out.I bought a second one that month and now tonight the second charger has gone burnt out. It's so annoying, I can't keep buying new chargers.
Try this:get new charger (you need it anyway). Remove the battery from laptop.Connect charger - charger should be able to power laptop without battery. Work just on charger for a while. If it won't burn out, then the problem is in the battery (it shorted the charger)
I had the same issue with my dell before and had to buy new dell chargers. My friend was having the same issues with her toshiba too. i tried this universal laptop charger my friend got and it worked for both of us. I got her to get me one too from the net. it's not as expensive as the original charger and has been working fine with my dell for almost a year now. u just have to select the proper head. universallaptopchargers .uk/laptop-heads.shtml universallaptopchargers .uk/index.shtml
