Question:

Why do some people come to a complete stop when going over speed bumps? (Not talkin' about Trucks and VWs)?

About half of all observed drivers seem to feel the need to come to a complete stop before climbing over speed bumps. Why is this? I'm not talkin about trucks, pickups, and old VWs the reasons for them stopping or going super slow over bumps are obvious. But most cars, including most older cars, can easily go over speed bumps at 15 MPH, and if they're the newer super-wide bumps, you can easily go over at 20 MPH. So what are the complete stops for? What are people afraid of?

Answer:

Flush itpublic roads may NOT have speed bumps
This doesn't seem to make sense. The exhaust fan is there to vent smoke as well as heat and odors. There would be no point to using a charcoal filter. You'd still have smoke in your kitchen which would set off the smoke detectors.
Yes, through metal structures or wires.
