Question:

why does beer foam with the addition of lime?

I like to add a lime slice, then plug the beer up with my finger and invert it to maxxxxxxxxximize flavor. Why does pressure build up with lime?

Answer:

It sounds like your lime tree is happy enough to produce new leaves. New leaves on citrus trees are usually lighter in color and more tender than the older leaves. As the leaves grow older on the tree, they turn darker and develop a tougher, leathery texture. It may very well be ready to bloom, but the new leaves just show that it is healthy and its level of care has been consistent with its needs. Blooms will sprout at the point where the leaf connects to the stem, so watch there for blooms emerging. Beyond that, keep doing what you are doing and leave it where it is - it sounds like you are doing all the right things.
