The smoke alarm in my living room has been going off about every 30 or 40 minutes, about 8 times now.It beeps about 10 beeps then stops by itself. They are the loud normal alarm beeps, not the quite continuous ones some of them do when the battery is low. I have the outer cover off. There is a black plastic cover which I assume is where the battery is. But I can't open this to remove the battery, which I want to do so it doesn't wake us every half hour all night.What can I do to stop it?
I believe you mean 'overalls'. You can get the disposable type, but they end up being expensive if you need to cover your clothing often. You are better off getting some good heavy cotton drill/denim type ones. Most variety type clothing stores should stock them eg Target, Big W or equivalent in your part of the world - or just go to a place where they sell work clothes/safety clothing etc. used by builders, miners, farmers, manual labourers etc. They come with just braces, with short sleeves and with long sleeves. With and without the reflective stripes often required these days for high visibility. I find that the second-hand clothing stores are an excellent place to find overalls. Epecially those outside the average size ranges.
This whole thing is a sexual metaphor. Change the locks shouldn't be taken literal. The father is speaking metaphorically. The son took it literally. When the son says Change the locks, he really means change the locks. The neighbor has a key to paradise. But, metaphorically, it obviously means the neighbor is banging mom. Taken metaphorically, changing the locks is so another man won't be entering paradise.
Thats probroly the dumbest thing you could have done. To make it up to her you want to get her a 7-11 or dunkin donuts gift card!?! No your going to buy her a new 500 dollar manicure kit, and some flowers. Poor Fool.
