Why does the thick atmosphere of Venus lead to a high temperature at its surface?
if you can make water flow through the heater hose well then most likely its something else what about the heater control valve is that working properly?
If you have good flow in both directions, the core is probably not pluggedSince it isn't leaking, why not take it to a repair shop and let them boil it out in their chemical tankAnd yes, it probably is aluminum.
hot water might clean it bettertake a garden hose and hook up to the hot water, take off the heater hoses and spray into 1 and then the other, keep doing that until it runs out in a good stream.
Because it's mostly carbon dioxideThis creates a greenhouse effect, which is like a blanket on the planet, trapping infrared radiation which would normally radiate excess heat back into spaceThis makes the temperature as high as 464°C (867°F)At the rate we're going we will experience some of this on our own planet, soon enough.

Sounds as though it is not clogged.would be looking toward temperature thermostat being faultyThere is a stronger acid made to do this but not sure what it isIf water flows well through it , it's not your problem.
