why do dogs start howling and crying when an alarm goes off or when blues music comes on? it's never made sense to me. if anyone would like to enlighten me that'd be awesome.
s*** myself. :) on a serious note you wouldn't know it was only a false alarm. so you'd be scared, obviously. i'd wipe quick, pull my pants up, then leg it!
ya know it all depends. if i was seeing the smoke or fire myself i'd get the heck out of there but if all seemed fine i'd take the extra seconds to clean up and then go.

Even though the battery is new, take it out and try another one. It may be a faulty battery. Otherwise it could be faulty wiiring or the wiring has a crack in it, Was there a cigarette smoker around? Our alarm would go off with cigarette smoke.
It depend on the fire ;-p If it is a small fire, finish your business but be aware of the following 1) Most people who die in fire are K.O. by the poisonous smoke. Therefore, cover your nose and mouth with a wet handkerchief. 2) Most people who die in fire make a wrong turn and get trap by fire. Therefore, while you are doing your business, plan an escape route. If it is a big fire, just run to the nearest buliding 2 blocks away and use the toilet there to finish your business..
