Question:

Why is my gas dryer not getting hot enough to dry clothes?

My gas dryer gets warm, but not hot enough to dry clothes in a single cycle. It takes a second or third time to get completely dry now. I have checked the exhaust vent outside and there seems to be plenty of air flowing out when the dryer is on. We clean the lint trap after every load. Is there some routing maintenane I can try to get it working normally again? It does seem to be getting warm so I am sure that something is just not working to it's fullest potential.

Answer:

Yes, and you don't. Find an extingusher Co. It doesn't cost much to refill, or just buy a new one at you favorite home inprovement store.
They work great. I'm from NH and I swear by them. Just remember that you can't outsmart the laws of physics. If the road is pure icethat means there's hardly any friction. And no tire can help you out there. With most siped, studless winter tires, they don't bite through the snow for grip, they grip the top of the snow. It's hard to explain, but think of a snowmobile track on a snowmobile. Just take it easy out there and you'll do fine!
