I mean, if the stars in the clusters you are observing are of particular size and not as bright - does that mean they are running out of fuel, e.g. the cluster is old; or they are just too far away? How you can determine that this cluster is 2b years old, and not just way out of the way?

taking the horn fuse out would only kill the horn and not the alarm. Look for the alarm fuse if it's an aftermarket alarm. If you can deal without a horn and the car starts and runs normally with the horn blarring, then I guess just pull the horn fuse. I
