I have oil heat that I pay for. I have a gas stove which I don't pay for. To pinch my pennies I want to heat the house with the oven as much as possible. I'm hearing this is not a good idea but I don't understand why. I'm being safe. I only leave the oven cracked open, I keep the temp low (about 300 which is the lowest I can go on my oven, so it's not like I'm blastin it) I don't leave the room with the oven on (which means yes I turn it off when i step out, go to bed, work, etc.) and I don't leave it on for a long time. Just enough to heat the house to 70 (which usually takes around 20-30 min)and then I shut it off until the temp drops around 63-65. How bad is this?
Redleg is right on. Then you have life boats, you also have the other Navy ships and The Coast Guard that will come get you. Not to mention numerous other vessels in the ocean that will help. You are never alone, even in the vast ocean.
When I went through I had enough time to write at certain times (before the field training and after). Also he can call between phases too. I don't know when he started or if he did. Write the Benning phase and they will forward the mail to his butt if he passed to the next phases. He failed or recycled, too easy. The mail will find him.
