I saw how this news item made world-wide attention about how this guy kept 3 girls captive for 10 years between 2002 and 2013 and Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry, and Gina DeJesus were the 3 young ladies who were kidnapped. Two of those took place when they were still children.
The house history has to be disclosed to the buyer and I doubt that there would be any buyers.
It's standard practice nowadays to demolish any piece of real estate where a highly-publicized gruesome crime took place. Otherwise, the site is apt to attract all sorts of crazy people for years afterwards, looking for ghoulish souvenirs, and so on. More trouble than it's worth.
