You can get them from most good plumbing supply shops. The other option would be to cut the pipe and replace a section with something similar to the original. If it is indeed cast iron pipe, the new one connect mechanically so you won't have to deal with lead and oakum. If you have a LOT of time on your hands and are a little bored, well, maybe VERY bored, have a read of the third link. Type this into search or run Control.exe to find it. If it still won't work..do this Sfc /Scannow Scans all protected system files immediately and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions. This command may require access to the Windows installation source files. Have your xp disk with you..go to Startrun and type in Sfc /scannow Cheers
