Question:

wii USB loader with a card reader.?

I want to know if there is a way to use a wii USB loader with a card reader. I am using Configurable USB loader and a DYNEX card reader. The card reader can read 25 different memory cards and USB powered. I tried it but the wii or homebrew channel doesn't recognize it. Maybe there are other tweaks required. Thanks.

Answer:

Because of the amount of power that is needed to run a wii game via usb, it's recommended that you get a dedicated hard drive that has a power plug of it's own. Also, remember that the SD card needs to be formated as WBFS. You'll find that a Wii Backup Manager (google that, there's a few out there) is required to get your game from your computer to your SD card. The Wii Backup Manager can format your card to WBFS, and is required for it to be recognized with Configurable USB Loader. Hope that helps.
it might just be the card reader, homebrew is picky. make sure your using a SanDisk brand card thats all i can tell you, i use neogamma
challenging situation. lookup onto the search engines. this might help!
