will 17&alloys fit straight on my rover 416si?
Probably will be fine especially if it is a really short run. But it may possibly take longer for your clothes to dry. Just keep the run clean all the way or just go 4 through the wall instead of the floor.
yes you can reduce, they sell three or four different types of reducers for this problem. make sure to seal the reducer so no air and/or lint escapes it. good luck.
Bad idea and I'm fairly sure it is not legal. It will overheat your dryer, will take a lot longer to dry, and worse case scenario is it could cause a fire. It will make the dryer itself run much hotter. It can double the cost to run the dryer. Going from 4 inch to 3 inch doesn't sound like much but the cross section of the vent that determines how much air it can move, the area of a circle, is a function of R squared. That means going from a 4 inch to 3 inch is a little better than HALF THE SIZE.And if the 3 inch vent is not REAL short it can slow the air down so much the tube fills with water and the dryer won't dry at all. If the vent is less that 5ft long you MIGHT be able to get away with it. That is if it goes to the outside immediately after going through the floor. Or you might be able to down size to 3 through the floor then back to 4 on the other side but that still will restrict it some. In any sense it is still a bad idea.Just because they sell something doesn't mean it is legal, proper, or will work for you. They still sell plastic venting but that is no longer legal to use for dryers either.
In my opinion it is the parenting that needs to changeYou take away things they can live without?? What is the point now. They NEED a computer?? unless they are in school and have a homework assignment they do not NEED a computer. At this age they do not need a cell phone or makeup or clothes up the butt like you say. I have a 13 and 12 y/o and they don't wear makeup and don't have clothes from every store imaginable. Guess what, my kids are very respectful well mannered kidsnot just methey have won awards for this in schoolhonor roll and honor society kids. Take away what would hurt and teach them a lesson. You sound like one of the parents who wants to be their kids friend and coolthey are always going to talk to you this way then and you let it. YOu are the parent and they the childact it.
Most of those containers are sealed pretty well. I've worked in chemical departments stocking everyday (many years) and never had any issues-except the one time when brake fluid bottle wasn't sealed (got a little buzzed and sick to my stomach). You could always wear work gloves to prevent any remaining chemicals that may be on the bottles from touching your hands. Really though, most businesses that store chemicals have decent ventilation. If it bothers you too much you could always ask your supervisor(s) for different tasks. I'm sure it's not a job you would want to do long-term (years) but in short-term you shouldn't worry too much. Just don't eat or touch your face/ears while you work. Really what you should be more worried about is the weight you have to lift constantly and what that will do to your body in the long run. Make sure you are lifting with you legs and not your back etc.. take my word for it-stocking can ruin your joints.
