Question:

Will freezing my berries affect my jam?

Every year i make huckleberry freezer jam, but this year i don't have time to make it before a week-and-a-half long tripBut there will be a lot fewer berries when i get back.If i pick the berries i need now, freeze them, and then make my freezer jam in 2 weeks, how will that affect the way my jam is made? Will the consistency/flavor change at all?

Answer:

raspberries pears blueberries apples strawberries black beans whole wheat spaghetti oatmeal raw carrots broccoli raisins
Basically your fruits, vegetables, and nutsIf you took the time to look at many diet plans there are an unlimited amount of fruits, vegetables, and nuts for a person to eat When I am eating six times a day, I eat unlimited fruits, vegetables, and nuts around every 3 to 4 hours.
Fruits, vegetables, lentils and beans
The key to keep the berries from turning to mush is to freeze them as quickly as possibleIf they are frozen slowly, ice crystals will form which will puncture the cell membranes causing the fruits to turn to mushStart with them in your refrigerator overnight to get them chilled, then lay them flat on a piece of aluminum foil on a single layer and put them in your freezer for at least 90 minutesOnce they are frozen, you can bag them or however you were planning to store themHTH
