I have a heavy bag and a speed-bag at my house, as well as a set of general training gloves, weighted training gloves, training gloves specifically for the heavy bag, and training gloves specifically for the speed bag.I've noticed as I've owned them for a while that I seem to be able to use the heavy bag better wearing the speed bag gloves, and the speed bag with no gloves at all.Basically I'm just beginning to wonder if I'm putting myself at any risk. Nothing feels different but I've always been told I have delicate hands and a somewhat weak bone structure. That and all the warnings and proper procedure propaganda I'd usually ignore is starting to get me paranoid.So, in short, will wearing gloves not meant for a certain task make it any more likely to damage my hands?
