Answer:

sorry, but all fruit have seeds unless it is a special hybrid. like if you breed a donkey and a horse, you get a mule, which is hybrid. hybrids like that cannot reproduce. my aunt and uncle were too different and could not reproduce. the genes of chickens and ducks are too different to allow them to breed. understand?
There are two ways to get a seedless citrus, hybridizing/breeding and mutation. A seedless mexican lime is from a mutation of a regular mexican lime. Some are produced through breeding between different types of citrus or trees of the same type that are naturally almost seedless like the Bearss lime. They are all grown from cuttings grafted onto rootstock, so no need for seed. BTW, there are many types of limes and some do have seeds, you've been getting seedless ones at the store.
well it all starts with mommy and daddy lime taking a walk on the beach then a romantic feast under the stars..... i have a lime tree that produces key limes that's about all i know, oh yeah, and call me crazy but my limes have seeds, and so do the limes at the bar because i can remember getting a corona and spitting the seeds every now and then, they are just little soft seeds
Everything I found says that they do have seeds. However, you can grow many trees from cuttings, you do not need to plant a seed.
Limes grow on trees; the kind of limes you see commonly in grocery stores are Persian limes, and most strains of them have been genetically engineered to be relatively seedless. ( Like what they sell as seedless watermelon; looking closely, there are always a couple in there somewhere). Now and then, one with seeds will slip through--if you buy enough of them, you'll see 'em.
