My 98 Dodge Caravan WWipers are coming on spontaneously and not at all sometimes. The Turn signal multi switch was replaced and it still does it? What is the most likely cause? Recommended solution?
You will probably have a relay that controls the intermittent cycle of the wipers. It sounds as if this may be at fault. It will normally be sited in the fusebox.
This is a common problem on the 96-2000 Dodge and Chrylser vans. It sounds like you have an open circuit in the park switch located in the wiper motor. You may want to get it checked, because if I could recall the specific procedure for checking that, I would be more than happy to type it out for you. I don't want to lead you astray, but I am sure your park switch is faulty.
