On my 2003 altima the windshield wipers won‘t stop going. Even when it is in the off position they will randomly start wiping by themselves, stop for a while, and then start wiping again. If you turn them on they will speed up but they will not quit. Can someone please help! Is there a fuse or something I can pull for now and what could possibly be causing this?
The windshield wiper motor has a park switch in it that stops the wipers when they are in the down position. Most likely the switch in yours is bad. You may have to replace the motor, and if so get a rebuilt one from a car parts store. Good Luck
Your wipers are controlled by a circuit board in the wiper motor housing, knowing nissan you will probably need a new motor, could be bad wiring or switch
