DO NOT try to activate. 90% of alarms have settings that are adjustable either by flipping DIN switches on the alarm brain or you can access the options through the remote. But, two wrong buttons pressed and you'll be in worse shape than just a deactivated alarm. unless the person who deactivated simply disconnected a power feed wire, it's too complex to mess with yourself. You can try to check the alarm's connections, but don't take it further than that.
