I would take it back. Everything should work on it. Should be designed not to pick up static. Maybe keep your cell phone away from it cause the signal can cause electrical interference
I think it is your smoke detector. My conventional oven used to set off the smoke detector in two of my past apartments. It most often happened when I set the oven to broil. It happened even if I had not placed any food any the oven. It's like they were heat detectors and not smoke detectors. Both times, I switched them out for new smoke detectors and the problem stopped.
a hose, to put out the fire I have done this before, when my sister had candles in the bathtub and she left to answer the phone, next thing the side of the shower's on fire. I grabbed the hose outside and dragged it into the house and put it out while they were freaking out.
