I started listening to Heavy Metal, and I listen to Slipknot and Lamb of God. Are there any more good Metal bands out there?

The transition metals are the three rows 10-blocks wide in the middle of the periodic table. They are called D-block elements since they represent electrons filling the d orbitals.

The d transitions metals are the ones in the middle of the periodic table between group 2 and 3...Ex:Cu ,Ni,Fe they have more than one oxidation state ...they form coloured compounds and solutions...they are used as catalysts Ex:Vanadium Oxide in contact process and Fe powder in Habour process...BTW they are called D-Transition metals bec their valence electrons are in the D Orbitals
