Go to your local library,go to the information desk and request a copy of the CFR book (Code of Federal Regulations),you also need to see a copy of the NEC book (National Electrical Code). These books are what they go by, also local code if more stringent will supersede their code, so go to the city building dept for this. Good luck,be safe.
I really wouldn't try it, I'd say just pile on a few more blankets and run around in a circle for a minute, then cover up. Blankets and other things tend to just randomly catch fire if you put them under the stress of microwaves, if my fandom of Is It a Good Idea To Microwave This? on youtube any indictation of knowing this. I wouldn't try it. You don't know what that blanket is ade of, and it may even melt!
