Physics: why there's no light?

Why there is no light in thespace..??As sun light comes inEarth by passing the space...

Answer:

There is light, but it's only going in one direction - away from the sun. If you look in any other direction, the light can't enter your eye, so it looks dark. On Earth the air scatters light to some extent in all directions. Also it reflects to some extent off the many solid objects in our surroundings. Therefore if you look in any direction there is some light, although it is much less intense than is coming directly from the sun. If you were to look directly at the sun, there is so much light it's blinding.
