I‘m looking to redo my 1965 mustang‘s suspension. The only thing is that I have a 351 Windsor engine in it. Can someone tell me if it is necessary to get a heavier duty suspension system with my engine being larger than normal? Or is it ok to just go stock?
go with the heavier your car is light you will be happier in the long end i had a 68 calf .special 428 cobra jet refitted with a heavy duty suspension handled like a dream
you can spray axe on yourself and light and it doesn't hurt until the axe burns off. i would not recommend lighting yourself on fire using any method.
If it came with a v8, then no. If it came with a 6 cyl , then yes you should replace the front springs for the v8 model. Also if it was a 6 you may want to change the rear end as the gearing was a bit higher on the 6.
