i have a 1995 silverado 1500 and it will not start when i use the key. it doesnt even turn over, but yet the dashboard lights come one. the only way i can start my truck is with the auto-start alarm system i have on it. any ideas on why this is happening?
If i know you, which i'm assuming i do, I would sit in the front
I wouldn't except the ride just because there are too many piggish idiots in the world not saying u are. u know what i mean. i am a petite girl so its just not safe : )
Sounds like a wiring problem with the auto start system take it back to whomever did the installation and have them correct the problem.
A lot of times it could come down to a programming problem with your key. I've seen Lexus' do that on occasion. I had an older woman have no success starting her car with the key because all it really is, is a mini computer that tells the car you're in the car and that you want to start it. Clearly there is no problem with the starting of your vehicle, it could be as simple as reprogramming your key. Good Luck!
