I wanted to know what kind of brake system the stock 2005 honda civic lx would have? Also, whenever I am releasing my foot off of the brake pedal i am hearing a sqeaking noise. Any idea what the problem could be? I just got my front pads and rotors done and I have 35000 miles on the car.
That's usually the sign of a rear shoe rubbing against the backing plate. All it takes is an application of high temperature brake grease. Lube the 3 pivot points on each shoe
