I was coming home today when I noticed a subtle change in my car‘s handling. It began veering to the right when it was moving - and then to the left when I pressed the brake pedal. I then started smelling something that I identified as molten brake pad/rotor - very metallic. Looking at the wheels in my driveway, I found that the passenger side front wheel was smoking and very hot. The other wheels were normal.I think this is a stuck caliper, which seems strange since the calipers, pads and rotors on the front are only two years old. My questions:- Could there be any other reason? The master cylinder was changed about six months ago if it means anything.- How to fix?- Cost for a mechanic to do the work? Thanks in advance.
cat backs are good performance exhaust and have less restrictions in exhaust flow which means horse power. p.s. i read this in a performance catalog
Less distance the exhaust has to travel to leave the engine, the better the performance.
if it would burn you hot it is your bearings
have your wheel bearings checked out. don't know where you will be taking it to . so can't tell you how much it will be.
Definitely have the brake open-up checked. The pad could have come apart, the piston could be wedged, but don't wait to find out.
