Were the usa transmissions most likely to be garbage and the jpn transmission was better or what? Im buying a transmission and it says the transmission is imported from japan and yes it fits in the 98-02 Hondas but yeah were the jpn transmission more reliable
Honda had a lot of faulty and over engineered transmissions in the early 2000's that where made in Japan.
transmissions are made in Japan and shipped here and installed in the U.S cars. the transmissions are not built in the U.S. if you are buying a remanufactured transmission it should have the updates done to it.
