Question:

ABS and brake system warning lights came on?

I was driving through a really rough intersection (it was crazy bumpy) at about 50 mph and I noticed a couple seconds later my ABS and brake system warning lights were on. I drove all the way home and shut off the car. (no problems with stopping i might add) .I turned it on again and the lights were off. To make sure I took a spin around my sub where I had to constantly apply the brakes. No lights came on. Could these lights have been triggered accidently because of the roughly paved intersection?

Answer:

wire came loose on your vechical speed sensor turn on your abs light happens all the time your car will brake fine just without abs
Check fluid level in the brake master cylinder reservoir
Sometimes, the sensors that monitor these things have false codes appear, which might be the reason why they lit up. So. if they went away after you shut the car off and turned it back on, you should be fine.
