could someone set me straight on something ? i have a 97 buick lesabre with 4 wheel ABS brakes ! when stopping in the snow i get a slight pulsation on the brake pedal, is that normal ? this is the first car i ever owned with ABS brakes ! i had the braking system all checked out and no ABS light is staying on so i am assuming the ABS brakes are doing its job ! i have good tires all the way around on my car so i don,t think it,s the tires ! it only does it in the snow ! could someone explain to me how ABS braking system works ? thanks guys !
I have a 2002 and when I bought the car the factory keyless entry remote was not with the car. The dealer told me he had it disarmed and wouldn t be a problem. Now the red light from the factory security is flashing and my radio and amp won t work. How do I reset the alarm and disarm it so this doesn t happen again. The stereo and amp are the Bose factory.
You have to wait till the alarm system arms. After pressing the remote or use the key to lock the car wait approx. 45/60 seconds watch the red alarm light flashing rate change. Now open the door from inside. Good Luck
You ABS system is performing perfectly when you hear the pulsing sound. You have no problem at all
Yes it working it sounds like. Anti lock use a motor the pumps the brake pedal for you ,all you do is hold the pedal down and keep it down.
ABS works by very quickly releasing and reapplying the brake continuously on a slipping wheel at a slightly lower pressure and this if felt through the brake pedal as pulsing
