Question:

Amount of light-photosynthesis?!?

How does the amount of light (at different distances-close, far, no light) affect the rate of photosynthesis?

Answer:

Generally, the higher the light intensity, the faster the rate of photosynthesis. However there will come a point when further increases in the light intensity will have no effect on the rate of photosynthesis, because the rate is now limited by another factor, for example carbon dioxide concentration.
