Metal is true music! So many music organs involved and great voices by the artists WHO SING! now the clothes and hair style and everything is just a joke! rap in the other hand is not even music to me! It started of course as a great movement in streets of Usa by poor Ghetto kids against the power and system which influenced many rebels around the world! Rap was Street Poetry and was great back then when it started ! Unfortunatelly now is about the bling bling and money and women and how to put down each other or even kill each other! So when it comes to music Metal all the way!
Metal is much better IMO. rap isn't music, it's just sampling someone else's music and talking over that music about how many people you kill or how big your wheels are.
There is no metal is better than rap or rap is better than metal because that's just your opinion and you don't know you're not a big time rapper or metal artist. Just saying what I think dude.
