Question:

Anyone have any of the Eddie Bauer high chairs? Thoughts, opinions?

I really like the look of the Eddie Bauer high chairs. I really don't like plastic high chairs because they just look cheapy to me. For those of you with the EB high chairs, do you like them and which model do you have? Any recommendations? Thanks!

i liked the eddie bauer too. but ive found that my baby just needs a little booster seat that attaches to our regular dining chairs. if you like the look of not cheap i would say just to get a booster with tray. that way its not a completely seperate chair. my baby girl is 7 months and loves her booster sitting and sitting next to us. i feel the high chair is an expense that can be avoided. if you just want to have one, i def like it the best :)
I'm very against the big bulky high chairs as well and when I was shopping for a high chair I almost chose an eddie bauer as well. One thing that drew me away is it had a fabric cover. It might have changed since then but I'm not sure. For something that gets dirty every time you use it a fabric cover isn't too practical. You would have to wash it every day. I prefer ones without a cover that I could just wipe down with a wash cloth. I ended up buying a space saver high chair and I recommend it to anyone. It's not the most attractive thing in the world, but it's so nice! It's small, it attaches to a chair, it folds down for easy storage when you don't need it, you can use it for traveling, the tray is dishwasher safe, it has a toy attached and it can be used for 6 months all the way to about four years old. Plus it's only about $30. I'll post a link of it below. Another thing I have is a restaurant style high chair, it has no fabric, it's solid wood and it's inexpensive. I bought mine for only $10 and it has lasted me years. The eddie bauer high chair is nice, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Hi! I have the Eddie Bauer B is for Bear Highchair. It is really nice! I know it's probably not something for people who have little space because it doesn't fold up, but it DOES look really nice! I have had mine now for 3 1/2 years and it has held up wonderfully. It is fairly easy to clean (getting baby food out ofcrevices is difficult no matter which high chair you get) and as long as you don't put the pad in the dryer, you CAN put it in the washer on a gentle setting. (Just was it by itself). The wooden high chairs seem to be the most durable, and even though the tray is plastic, it is well made. I even had a mishap where the high chair fell forward (empty of course) and landed straight onto the tray. I thought for sure I had busted it! Fortunately, it had only unsnapped one of the tray locks out of place, and it went back together without any problems. The ONLY downside I have ever had with it is your baby fits best in it when he/ she sits well on their own first. I have propped my girls up using rolled up kitchen towels on either side, so you CAN do that if you choose to. Well, that and I guess it's not something easy to store after you are done with it. Mine sat in the corner of my kitchen or dining room gathering dust for about a year before our second daughter was born. It will definately hold up for many many years and through multiple children! I highly recommend this high chair! EDIT: The cover says fabric, but it is actually vinyl- so you can just wipe it down after too.
