Question:

Are medical gloves a requirement in a health care facility?

I work as a Residential Assistant for a company in Illinois. We care for the mentally ill and developmentally disabled. (Health Care setting) We come in contact with MRSA, yeast infections, waste, etc. Neither my boss, nor anyone from the company informed me that we do not use medical gloves of any sort. Our company orders non-medical food service latex and vinyl gloves. Is there some sort of regulation regarding this matter? I am concerned for the safety of others in the building. I'm afraid to say that food service gloves will not prevent us from being exposed to these types of bacterias/infections. What can I do?

Answer:

I have cpvc pipe on 3 hot water heaters that have been there for years. However, I always install a 6 inch galvanized nipple on the hot side before I connect the cpvc. Works for me. Good luck.
Well!!!!!! Simple. Use Bernoulli's Equation.. P/ρ + V?/2 + gZ Constant P1/ρ + V1?/2 + gZ1 P2/ρ + V2?/2 + gZ1 Here, V1 0; Z1 0 After passing through the nozzle, the output will purely be of kinetic energy. Hence, P2 0 P1 / 1000 + 0 + 0 0 + 4?/2 + 9.81*15 155.15 P1 155.15 * 1000 155.15 k Pa Thus, the pump has to supply water at 155.15 K Pa P.S: Solving method is correct. Please check the calculations
