no but uv light is harmful to them in high quantities
there's ALOT of way into your room that aren't lit anyay... not to try and sacre you but i bet they've already been in there.. scorpions aren't much of a threat anyway, there's only a few reported stings a year and hardly any are fatal
Sorry, but no. Light or no light, if they're hungry or threatened they'll go anywhere.
