I'll just recommend what I usually do :) First of all the basics: Slayer, Anthrax, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dio, and Megadeth are a must!! Those are the classics and they are just AWESOME, so start off with them! Some other pretty good bands: Cannibal Corpse Arch Enemy Killswitch Engage Racer X Necrophagist The black dahlia murder Protest the hero Dream Theater Symphony X The last 3 are more of a progessive metal, but you still might enjoy it. I saw that a few mentioned Dethlok, they are like a comedic metal band based off of a cartoon series, haha but I do like them. Here are some links to a few good metal bands. Enjoy :)
