Use rubber cement. Apply thin coating to both surfaces. Wait 5 minutes. Then put together. You will never get them apart.
Aside from the cameras, the standard system is contact alarm that detects whether or not a door is open. Motion and heat sensors are not good for a mall because small animals, like rats, or air handlers can set them off.
