Question:

Are there any heat source for pets (or a heat blanket) that doesnt need to be plugged in?

I want to get a duck, but during winter I won‘t be able to keep the animal in my house or garage. But my dad said I can keep my duck in the shed that we don‘t use (it‘s plenty big don‘t worry). But it‘s too far away from any electrical outlets. So are there any blankets or lamps that (or any other heat source) can be charged or use a battery or something? Please and thank you in advance! There is also another place where I could put the duck that has an outlet but I think the shed would work better

Answer:

Look for a battery operated heaters or lamps for the duckie or try a 55 gallon barrel and burn wood or coal for the birds heat source and yes the bird will be fine from the fire they feel extreme heat like other animals.
Get a really long extension cord.
