Question:

Best way to keep Alloy Wheels Clean?

Factory installed Alloy Wheels on a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL (with 10 spokes). Info on best type of brushes/clothes etc. would also help. Thanks!

Answer:

Whatever size pipe it is just buy a cap for it and sweat solder it on the pipe end.
Canuck plumber gave great information on sweating a joint. You have to get all of the water out of the pipe or you will have a devil of a time getting the copper pipe hot enough. Watched a plumber at my house one time struggle with this problem, finally asked me if he could have a piece of bread. I thought he was just hungry! Got him the bread and he balled up a piece and put it inside the pipe and pushed it in a bit, heated the pipe and sweated the joint, no problem. The bread absorbed the water and will decompose and flow out with the water. Always thought that was a neat trick. Good luck
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/awC83 A lot of plumbers poke some bread down the pipe to soak up an residual water before they solder. Then, when the water is back on, the bread breaks down. I've never done that. However, if you have a problem soldering the joint you can visit your hardware store or plumbing supply and buy a compression fitting and a cap that will not require soldering.
check out the stuff at your local auto parts store, lots of bush types plus cleaners and polishing rags etc. as far as cleaners and polish I think Mothers is the best.
