not sure why you would do this anyway unless you had intentions of smoking it and set off the fire alarm and for some reason don't believe it was actually you that did it but anyway yes it is Possible depending on how well it lit and how much smoke was given off and the sensitivity and proximity of the alarm in question.

You may even have been given this formula to start with rather than having to derive it. Solve for theta. Everything else is known.
