can anyone tell me what solution i can use to clean an outside copper bay window roof?
You must not clean copper roofs this will wear them thin and cause them to go green and tarnish and therefore look unsightly Good Luck !
A packet of unsweetened kool-aid will do the trick. Mix it up with 1/2 the water recommened and use a green scrub pad like the one you use for dish washing. Personally i like the way copper turns, the green is tell tale of the copper underneath.
You aren't supposed to clean the copper roof. It is supposed to turn green and left alone it will last almost forever. Any cleaner you use to remove the green oxidation will also remove some of the copper and eventually ruin the roof.
