I‘ve been changing my own tires for ages on my Kawasaki Versys, which takes some pretty common tires (I can find 160/60/17 just about anywhere). My friend who rides a 250 ninja, however, needs a new rear, and all the rears I find in his size (which seems to be either 130/70/zr17 or 120, depending on brand) are listed as being Front tires in their advertising.Does that really matter? Can I use, for example, the bargain brand Shinko Raven 120/70/zr17 Front tire as his rear, or will he low-side and die and have it be all my fault?
